Bio

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. This particular Masters degree focuses on how an individual interacts with the small and large systems in their life, both internal and external. I am trained to work with individuals, as are all therapists with counseling degrees, but in addition I am specifically trained in relationship and family therapy. I have experience treating many types of relationships (consensual non-monogamy, LGBTQIA, BIPOC, etc.) and am welcoming to all gender, sexuality, and ethnic expressions and identities.  I am a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP) and certified Trauma Of Money practitioner. My style is characterized by warmth, use of humor, nonjudgmental, and down-to-earth practicality. Therapy is a collaborative effort between me and my clients. We are a team, and my job is to help you find the tools and insight to make the changes you want. I believe my clients are the experts on their life, and work to find solutions that work in their world, not just the therapy office.

Affirming and inclusive therapy for all ethnicities, gender and sexuality expressions and identities, as well as relationship structures, is a guiding principle of mine. I strive to make my therapy room a safe and nonjudgmental space. I have been providing couples/relationship and individual therapy covering a wide range of issues in Massachusetts since 2012. I have worked providing out-patient therapy, in-home therapy and therapy to individuals and couples parenting while in recovery.
